Ebano Ballinteer review.

WHAT: A facial that cleanses, pampers and soothes your skin thoroughly.
WHERE: Ebano Ballinteer 01-2987810/ 01-2987921 www.ebano.ie
HOW LONG: 1 hour and 30 mins
HOW MUCH:  60-70 euro
THE TREATMENT:
In the able hands of Oana Ghepes, the facial starts off with warm cloths on my feet with a massage of them and they are wrapped up warm with moisturizer, she begins with deep cleansing. The flowery cleanser used smells divine and already I’m headed towards spa nirvana. Having determined in our consultation earlier that I have combination skin and open pores, Oana chooses Bioline as the products to use on my skin. www.Bioline.com Exfoliation and extraction are next and I feel the twinges of all the debris coming off my face. It’s just the teeniest bit uncomfortable but it needs to be done. Next up is an mask to smoothen and brighten, this has a super-thick consistency and feels quite decadent. I conjure up Cleopatra’s beauty routine with similarly lush ingredients! He he. Add an eye compress to brighten the contours of those peepers and it’s pampering for a very important part of the face. Things finish off with a toner and with a cream mask to moisturize, an eye cream and, not to forget, a very relaxing shoulder/back and head massage are part of the package.
THE RESULTS: My skin felt amazingly soft and looked (I've got to say it) visibly brilliant. Think minimized pores, clarity and plumpness. I slept like a princess that night. Love it and would go back for more, and I actually did.

THE TREATMENT: Colour, toner, cut and blow dry.
HOW LONG: 2 hours approx ( I cant recall because my head was in magazine and in the land of tea)
HOW MUCH: 130 euro ( depends on what colour you are getting done)
Elaine Burke does magic to my hair in Ebano, easy to chat with, funny and honest she is everything I wanted and needed in a hair stylist. I had platinum blonde hair, so she re-touched my roots, followed by a semi toner in the shade we both had talked about.... she really listened to what I wanted in the hair cut, having a back-ground of 9 years in hair dressing myself I wasn't nervous as I knew she understood what I wanted. I had a bad hair cut the last time in a different salon and Elaine was able to fix it, she then blow-dried my hair and curled it with the GHD. I was like a movie star leaving... and you guys have seen photo's of my Birthday and I felt a million dollars. Worth every penny.

Since these treatments I have had another facial and hair extensions placed in to front of my hair to create a long drop bob, Elaine is the only person I trust with my colour which she re-done for the extensions. As my hair is a Lilac shade she dyed the extensions to match. James Treacy placed my extensions in, fast and pain free. He cut them too, like all the staff he took the time to see what way I wanted the extensions to look.

I cant say enough about how much I enjoy treatments and the time I spend in Ebano, with 20% off Tue-Friday what more could you ask for?

They do everything from facial care, to hair, to styling, to manicures and pedicures... the list is endless.

I cant and wont fault them on anything, top service, beautiful/friendly people....
